Interesting article in Chronicle of Higher Education

This article, posted in the Chronicle of Higher Education is an interesting read.  In my view, it speaks to the potential downside of teaching students to manage their way through college by memorizing the material.  Interestingly, this corresponds to the implementation of the Common Core Standards at the K-12 level and teaching critical thinking, rather than to standardized test material.  Just my thoughts.
